Aim of NokelServices/Mobile

Our goal at NokelServices/Mobile is to create high quality useful applications and utilities for mobile operating systems and devices such as Windows Mobile, the iPhone, and Android. While there are vast differences in architecture and  capability, we try to minimize the difference in visual representation and functionality across platforms. Should users move from one device to another and load the same application they will see a very similar interface and should be able to transition smoothly. We also attempt to provide interchangable data formats so that data may be moved or shared seamlessly across platforms.

What is it we do?

Mobile Phone Applications

This category spans the Windows Mobile devices, Google's Android devices, and of course the iPhone . The key is finding common functionality and porting that across platforms and with different programming languages.

PDA and other Mobile Devices

These are mainly Windows Mobile devices and the iPod Touch. Windows Mobile spans several PDA models. The iPod Touch uses the same architecture as the iPhone with obvious limitations.

    Calculate a tip, plus round up to the next even total bill and next even tip. Even amounts and percentages provided, along with warning if the rounded amount is excessive.  Available for the iPhone/iPod Touch and the Android G1.

  • PrivateNotes cipher utility
    Encode your notes with a PIN and simple cipher. Allows emailing if you so desire. Online decoding via a website or desktop client decoding program (coming soon!)  Currently available for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
